Another example could be the limited choices given by the Democratic and Republican parties both of whom are rated very low in terms of public opinion. More recently, libertarian and social democratic movements have arisen to challenge the often stale and repetitive choices given by both major parties. In a modern setting, the media plays an important role in determining "key issues." Simply by reporting on certain issues or focusing on certain aspects of issues the media gives the impression that these are the important issues. To properly analyze power requires you to investigate how issues are framed, what is excluded, and most importantly who benefits from this. Once this step has been taken can you begin to analyze power in the way described by pluralists.

     What this quote meant to me it showed how a lot of people in America are waking up. It also shows how people want real justice peace and equality. The issues that go on in this country and the world are not a part of everybody's everyday life. The news in the news stations make the issues apart of our lives because 90% of the news is never good. Democrat, Republican, social democratic, and libertarian all have issues you decide what to pick which issues unless you. This article shows how that the media can manipulate that thought process with those key issues so whoever or whatever you believe in or choose to follow the media will influence that choice that in itself is true power.

     I picked this because of all the different media outlets that has brought about a stronger libertarian and the social democratic parties. The age of the conspiracy theory is that his highest. The American public are aware of all of the deals that were made between Democrats and Republicans that were terrible for the middle class and lower class. All of Americans no matter race or color have come to realize that the key issues that Democrat and Republicans always refer to has very little to do with the 99%. The American political system has become an open door for everyone to peek into. Our current president Donald J Trump is a great example on how he uses social media to voice his opinion as president. The president's actions pre-election and continuing into his presidency has fueled the libertarian and social democratic movements. While these two movements are gaining momentum around the country because of Donald Trump's actions and old but not dead part of America has once again reared its ugly head. This is about power our president has used his power to separate and divide this country. The American public needs to analyze the key issues that the news decides to show and why are they showing them. CNN, MSNBC, and a Fox news all play their own spin on the same key issues. These new stations control so many people thoughts they have immense amount of power. This is why we need to be involved research and stay woke.

Only citizens born in the U.S. can be President

Akhil Reed Amar, looks at the limitations on naturalized citizens for holding office, specifically the President. The Constitution states that only citizens born in the U.S. are eligible to be President of the U.S., as he says. But those American citizens who happen to have been born abroad to non-American parents — and who later choose to become “naturalized” American citizens — are not the full legal equals of those of us born in the U.S. True, naturalized Americans have always been allowed to serve as cabinet secretaries, Supreme Court justices, senators and governors. Interest Groups

     Interest groups are organizations like the AFL-CIO that represent labor unions; the U.S. Chamber of Commerce represents business interests; and others ranging from different political ideologies and agenda: the National Rifle Association (NRA); the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and many more. These groups are formal organizations seeking to influence policy through political channels using methods I will discuss shortly.
